The stars, the spirits of mountains, rivers, and the earth, as well as the viewers in this set of works, form a three-layer visual spatial progression relationship of "heaven, earth, and human". Expressing the inseparable connection between the three through the constantly changing thread of "JI", allowing viewers to participate in the state of tacit understanding that Zhuang Zi said "all things are connected, and therefore are intertwined", thus transforming themselves into the perception and connection of all things in heaven and earth.
The connections between people, between people and all things, are all within the vast of the net of Karma formed by the constant changes and collisions of the information thread. Such subtle yet grand connections can be deeply moved by a single thought to the endless depths of the stars. "When one's mind moves, the Tao no longer exists." The bond of human nature will never end.
In the past three years of the COVID-19, the real physical and mental damage suffered by everyone is actually the loss of human nature caused by mindless obedience. I never have any expectations for human nature, but I still fantasize that they can calm down and make independent judgments and thoughts, have more empathy and less harm to each other, and sow the causal seeds of a virtuous cycle. This set of works was mercilessly brought into this world by me amidst the contradiction of despair and expectation for human nature.
